Since I was young, I dreamed of owning a hospital because I wanted to help people. I didn't take a traditional path into healthcare leadership, but over the last two decades I've had the opportunity to lead physician practices, support hospitals, build healthcare businesses, negotiate complex partnerships, and help organizations navigate some of their most challenging moments.

What I learned is that most healthcare leaders aren't struggling because they lack ideas. They're struggling because they're carrying the weight of staffing shortages, financial pressure, physician relationships, operational challenges, growth initiatives, and a constant stream of competing priorities.
